The Venango Area Community Foundation (VACF)

was founded in 1975. Several attorneys at that time found there was a need to form a community foundation in order to provide a permanent place for community funds to grow and thus benefit the community perpetually. VACF was originally designed to serve Clarion, Forest and Venango Counties, but in 2008 each county formed their own Foundation. Today, Venango Area Community Foundation, Clarion County Community Foundation, and Forest County Foundation form Bridge Builders Community Foundations.
